About The Position

Elara Caring is hiring a Registered Nurse for home health care. The nurse assesses patients, provides care according to care plans and physician orders, monitors changes in patient conditions, and supports safe, continuous care. The role includes educating patients and families, protecting privacy in accordance with HIPAA, and taking appropriate action when a patient's condition changes. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is advertised.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited certificate, diploma, associate, or baccalaureate school of nursing.
• At least 1 year of experience as a nurse in a clinical care setting.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations.

Nice To Haves

• Home health experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients to determine their care needs and complete initial and ongoing assessments.
• Protect patient and staff privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Provide nursing care according to the plan of care and physician orders.
