About The Position
Sprenger Health Care is a third-generation developer, owner, and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Its communities provide long-term nursing care, assisted and independent living, memory care, hospice, home care, respite care, and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. The RN Treatment Nurse works at SHC of Port Royal in Port Royal, South Carolina, and is offered a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements
- Registered nurse.
Responsibilities
- Obtain reports and implement appropriate follow-up actions related to residents’ treatment needs.
- Conduct assigned resident rounds to assess and report skin condition and take necessary follow-up action.
- Instruct nursing assistants in proper preventive safety measures and use of adaptive equipment to meet resident needs.
- Assess and report changes in residents’ conditions to physicians, the nursing supervisor, and responsible parties, and take necessary follow-up action.
- Administer treatments according to physicians’ orders, accurately record treatments performed, and maintain weekly progress notes.
