About The Position

The Valley Health System has expanded into an integrated health network that serves more than two million people in Southern Nevada. Starting with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the Valley Health System has grown to include Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, Henderson Hospital, Valley Health Specialty Hospital, and West Henderson Hospital. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating transfers for the Valley Health System. Evaluates options and services available to meet an individual’s health needs through communication and available resources to promote quality cost-effective outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Four (4) years’ clinical experience.
  • Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet, and database.
  • Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum two (2) years charge RN experience preferred.
  • Critical care experience preferred.
