About The Position

This is a Full time, benefited OR RN role at Scripps Green in Torrey Pines. The shift is a 12 hour day shift 0645-1915 with call. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires. Scripps Green is a 173-bed hospital that has served the La Jolla and greater San Diego communities with distinction since 1977. Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team, which operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate for the position will have 1 or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho, General, Urology, Vascular and Spine. This is a busy and fast-paced environment which requires teamwork and cooperation to provide the highest level of patient care.

Requirements

One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating)
California Registered Nurse License
Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification
Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors
Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing

Nice To Haves

2 + years surgery experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Preferred circulating experience with ortho, neuro, spine, transplants, vascular, endovascular, general, ENT, urology, and robotics

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
