About The Position

Logan Health is hiring a seasonal RN Surgery Circulator for the Operating Room at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana. The assignment is for a minimum of 13 weeks and is scheduled for day shifts of 10 hours. Logan Health’s Operating Room nurses support safe, high-quality surgical care through patient advocacy, surgical coordination, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other perioperative professionals. The role involves developing and coordinating individualized nursing care, maintaining patient safety and infection-control standards, implementing provider orders, assessing and reporting changes in patient condition, anticipating needs during procedures, and documenting patient encounters. The nurse also educates and supports patients and families, prioritizes care as workloads change, and works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team. Seasonal compensation includes a 15% premium and bonuses of $1,000 after 30 days, $1,000 after 60 days, and $2,000 upon completion. Weekend and night shift differentials may apply. The position is eligible for a 401(k), and a fitness center discount is offered. Health benefits are not included. Logan Health operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and schedules may be adjusted to meet position and organizational needs. Offers are contingent on pre-employment screening, including criminal background, reference, drug, health and immunization, and physical demand screenings.

Requirements

Current Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana.
At least 1 year of RN experience in a similar medical setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or physician office.
Healthcare Provider CPR and/or BLS certification, as required by the service line.
Strong working knowledge of professional nursing theory and standards of practice, medical terminology, infection-control procedures and universal precautions, HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations, and OSHA rules and regulations.
Excellent organizational, critical-thinking, and prioritization skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with professionalism and diplomacy.
Computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems.

Nice To Haves

BSN degree.
At least 2 years of RN experience in a similar medical setting, such as a hospital, clinic, or physician office.
Prior experience in the Operating Room or surgical services.
Additional certifications relevant to perioperative nursing or the assigned specialty area.

Responsibilities
