RN Supervisor
About The Position
Asbury Methodist Village is hiring an RN Supervisor for a full-time night-shift role from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends. The position seeks candidates with a long-term care background and offers $43.60–$53.68 per hour; a shift differential may apply depending on schedule. The RN Supervisor works with colleagues to ensure continuity of care, oversees medical records in the electronic health record, assesses residents and determines when to contact physicians, oversees the admission process for new or readmitted residents, and provides medication or treatment guidance according to established policies.
Requirements
- RN or BSN degree from a school of professional nursing.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse license.
- Active CPR certification.
- Candidates should have a long-term care background.
- At least one year of RN experience is required for per diem status.
Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues to ensure 24-hour continuity of care.
- Provide oversight of medical records in the electronic health record.
- Conduct medical assessments of residents and determine when it is necessary to call the physician.
- Oversee admissions of new or readmitted residents to the nursing care center, ensuring resident assessments and documentation are complete and timely.
- Provide appropriate advice regarding medications or treatments in accordance with established policies.
