RN Supervisor
About The Position
Maplewood Health Care Center is seeking a compassionate, reliable RN Supervisor for its care team in Jackson, Tennessee. The RN Supervisor assesses resident needs; develops, administers, and evaluates individual care plans; and supervises CNAs and other nursing personnel on the unit. The role also includes informing physicians about changes in residents’ conditions and communicating care-plan changes to patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team. The position requires maintaining the confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic communications.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted RN license for the state of Tennessee.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Assess resident needs.
- Develop individual care plans.
- Administer and evaluate nursing care.
- Supervise CNAs and other nursing personnel on the unit.
- Inform physicians of changes in residents’ conditions.
- Communicate care-plan changes to patients, family members, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected health information in verbal, written, and electronic communications.
