The RN Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining fluency on all TheraCare policies and procedures and state/local regulations. This role involves providing Quality Assurance for the School Registered Nurse Program (DOE Staffing Program), offering ongoing mentorship, clinical support, and ensuring regulatory compliance for nurses. The supervisor will conduct clinical interviews, new hire trainings, and annual trainings, as well as retraining for supervising staff if needed. They will also be responsible for the creation and implementation of Nurse improvement plans and providing ongoing clinical support through scheduled onsite school/clinic visits, field observations, phone calls, and emails. Documentation of all visits, meetings, and supervisions is crucial, as is assisting operations in obtaining required expiring credentials for nurses. The RN Supervisor will attend meetings requested by the DOE, keep skills current through training, and maintain clinical software, ensuring staff are trained. Prompt response to emails and calls is expected, and performance appraisals of direct reports are required. Direct service may be provided if needed.
