About The Position

IU Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to support their Bloomington West Urgent Care facility. This role involves collaborating with the Practice Manager to lead a team of support staff in a busy environment serving approximately 100 patients daily. Requirements

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.

  • Oversee clinical care delivery, manage personnel, and assist with problem-solving to maintain efficient operations and optimal patient outcomes.

  • Ensure clear, effective communication that prioritizes the needs of both patients and staff, closely monitoring metrics.
  • Manage resources, guide staff development, and champion quality initiatives to reflect IU Health’s Purpose of delivering exceptional care.
