About The Position

The RN Staff SC (Sleep Medicine Clinic) delivers individualized nursing care tailored to the needs of patients and their families in a specialty clinic. Using the nursing process, the nurse provides clinical expertise that supports the medical plan of treatment established by the specialty care team. The role assesses patient needs, implements specialized interventions, and coordinates care in accordance with the clinical standards of the specialty service. The RN Staff SC integrates patient-centered advocacy and evidence-based practice to deliver complex specialty care with precision and clinical excellence.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is based at the Dodson Medical Office Building. Cook Children’s is a Texas-only employer; employees must maintain their primary residence in Texas and keep all required licenses and credentials current throughout employment.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of direct nursing experience.
• Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Active, unrestricted Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• Maintain primary residence in Texas and all licenses and credentials required for the position throughout employment.
