About The Position
The RN Staff CC maintains established standards of care, policies, objectives, and goals while administering professional nursing care to patients. The nurse identifies patient needs and priorities through assessment, plans and delegates care according to those needs, and evaluates patient responses and progress toward expected outcomes. The RN is accountable for patient-care outcomes during the assigned shift. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where tasks and priorities may change frequently. Department-specific competencies must be completed within the provisional period. HH Lincoln Health is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System and serves Lincoln County from Fayetteville, Tennessee. Its services include emergency, inpatient, and outpatient care, as well as care through Donalson Care Center, Home Health & Hospice, and Patrick Rehab & Wellness Center.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state school of nursing.
- Current Tennessee or multistate nursing license.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing and changing tasks frequently.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience is preferred; new graduates are accepted.
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP is required for critical care areas, based on patient population.
Responsibilities
