About The Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our ICU/CCU specialty unit in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The role involves providing direct patient care in accordance with the organization's scope and standards of practice, policies, values, and mission. This position requires critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work effectively in a stressful environment.
Requirements
- Accredited Program: Nursing
- One (1) year of nursing experience
- Registered Nurse License (State of Florida) or Compact License
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- Critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, and decisive judgment
Responsibilities
- Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.
- Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and, or psychosocial support needs.
- Evaluates learning needs of the patient and, or family and provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel.
- May precept student nurses and new hires.
