About The Position

Bruceville Terrace is a 171-bed sub-acute skilled nursing facility licensed as part of Methodist Hospital of Sacramento. It provides care for elderly residents and people requiring extended recovery, including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and complex medical services through an interdisciplinary team. More than half of the facility is dedicated to skilled nursing and convalescent care; the remaining beds serve short-term patients recovering after an acute-care hospital stay. The Registered Nurse in Skilled Nursing Care provides direct nursing care and supervises nursing activities to support high-quality, cost-effective care. The RN uses technology, procedures, protocols, standards, and interventions specific to the assigned unit and takes a leadership role over nursing personnel. The role requires accurate and timely documentation, clear communication using proper medical terminology, and adherence to policies and standards for resident care, medications, and treatments. The RN also assists with admissions, discharges, and transfers, and identifies changes in residents’ conditions to ensure prompt follow-up.
