About The Position

Adventist Health Portland is hiring new graduate registered nurses for its Spring 2027 residency cohort serving Med/Surg and Tele units. The cohort begins March 1, 2027. The role delivers coordinated nursing care to an individual patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards and the nursing process. The RN supervises and directs assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines, using critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. The position is .9 FTE, with 12-hour shifts that include some weekends and holidays. Base rate of pay is $54.00 per hour, with applicable differentials in addition. A comprehensive benefits package is offered. Applicants must upload a resume listing clinical rotations and GPA, and their Oregon RN license must be active the week before the cohort starts. The application period is October 30 through November 8, 2026; late applications will not be accepted. Interview candidates will be notified beginning November 23, with interviews the week of December 7. Local candidates will interview onsite; a virtual option is available for candidates outside the area who cannot travel. Offers are expected the week of December 14, and selected candidates must accept or decline by December 18.
