Shift Available: Full -Time, Monday - Friday 8-430 OU Health Physicians Advanced Lung Diseases Clinic is looking to add an RN Coordinator to help manage our pulmonary hypertension patients. This individual will work along side with our physicians in managing care by assisting in a variety of tasks. These tasks include coordinating referrals for additional advanced treatment, working with our pharmacy team on different medication starts for patients, coordination with clinical research, and general patient disease monitoring. The RN for this role will play a vital part as the clinic moves towards a Center of Excellence accreditation for pulmonary hypertension. This includes additional continuing education on pulmonary hypertension and community work. This role uniquely gives an individual a chance to work with many different groups outside of the department directly to collaborate for patient care. Responsible for providing appropriate counseling to patients on vasodilator medications within the Pulmonary HTN Program. Experienced RN: One (1) year of RN experience is preferred for this position.
