About The Position

The Clinic Registered Nurse provides direct patient care using the nursing process and applicable standards of practice in a fast-paced clinical setting. The role requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The RN supports compassionate, patient-centered mental health care and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to promote patients’ physical and emotional well-being.

The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM–4:00 PM, and Friday, 8:30 AM–11:00 AM. The RN may work other shifts or units as needed and may be assigned on-call.

Requirements

• Current state RN license.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 14 days of hire.
• One year of nursing experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform plan-of-care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other specialized medical care.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
• Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial or spiritual support needs.
• Assess learning needs and provide age- and culture-appropriate patient and family education.
• Advocate for patients’ physical and emotional well-being.
• Participate in unit and organizational performance improvement and required continuing education.
• Provide quality patient care and work other shifts or units as needed; may be assigned on-call.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
