RN Quality and Training Coordinator Home Health
About The Position
The RN Quality and Training Coordinator reviews and approves patient documentation submitted by Licensed Professionals during Start of Care, Recertification, Resumption of Care, and Evaluation visits. Working with branch leadership, the coordinator provides ongoing education, training, and support to Licensed Professionals so their documentation meets regulatory requirements and reflects current standards and best practices. The coordinator provides individual coaching and in-depth training as needed to improve clinician competency and compliance. The role promotes high-quality patient care, supports regulatory readiness, and fosters strong relationships with referral sources, patients, caregivers, and employees.
Requirements
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Maintain a valid clinical license in accordance with state requirements and applicable board rules.
- At least one year of experience.
- Previous experience in a Medicare home health or hospice setting.
- Maintain CPR certification, as required by the position.
- Maintain a valid state driver license in the current state of residence.
- Maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law.
- Demonstrate basic technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
- Demonstrate oral and written communication skills, fluency in English, and active listening.
- Demonstrate intermediate technology skills, especially Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Maintain dependable transportation in good working condition and be able to drive safely in all types of weather conditions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with packet review or quality improvement.
- Previous experience with coding.
- Previous experience using Homecare Homebase (HCHB).
