About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring an RN for its Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery unit, which comprises 14 rooms housed together. This arrangement allows patients, when possible, to have the same nurse before and after their procedure, supporting continuity of care. The RN must be capable of working in both pre-op and post-op areas and provide high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. The position is 40 hours per week, full-time, day shift. Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the State of Kentucky.
• BCLS certification.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.
• Proficiency in starting IVs.
• At least one year of RN experience in a PACU or ICU setting.
• Previous critical care or recovery experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills regarding the perioperative experience.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask amid frequent interruptions.
• Flexible working hours.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Willingness and capability to work in both pre-op and post-op areas.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and willingness to accept the responsibilities of working in a fast-paced environment.
