About The Position

Baptist Health is hiring an RN to work in its Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery unit, a group of 14 rooms housed together. This setting allows patients, when possible, to have the same nurse before and after their procedure, supporting continuity of care. The RN must be willing and capable of working in both pre- and post-operative areas and be committed to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, on the day shift. A virtual hiring event is scheduled for November 19, 2026; candidates can reserve a spot through the Sign-Up Genius link in the posting.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in the State of Kentucky.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• Proficiency in starting IVs.
• At least one year of RN experience in a PACU or ICU setting.
• Previous critical care or recovery experience.
• Strong clinical knowledge and skills related to the perioperative experience.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask amid frequent interruptions.
• Flexible working hours.
• Positive attitude and good communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work in both pre- and post-operative areas.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and the responsibilities of working in a fast-paced environment.
