About The Position
Join Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital as a nurse in the Progress Care Pediatric Acute Department in Spokane, Washington. Providence nurses provide patient-focused, whole-person care grounded in understanding, commitment, and mutual respect. Caregivers apply specialized training to deliver health care with human connection and make a difference through their care. This is a full-time, night-shift position working 36 hours per week. Eligible external candidates may receive a hiring bonus of up to $15,000, subject to all payment conditions. Providence offers benefits and compensation beginning on the first day of employment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon hire, a Washington Registered Nurse License is required.
- Upon hire, National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
- National Provider PALS certification from the American Heart Association is required within 90 days of hire.
- One year of acute care experience with a patient population similar to the department of hire, or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility.
