About The Position

Affirmed Home Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled, one-on-one care to a 1-year-old child with a tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube in the comfort of her home. The role is part of the company's growing Pediatric Division and involves supporting the child and her family in a home-care setting.

Available shifts include days, evenings, overnights, and weekends, with flexible per diem scheduling. Eight- and 12-hour shifts are available. The position offers a starting rate of $55 per hour, weekly pay by direct deposit, an employee referral bonus program, flexible scheduling, streamlined onboarding, ongoing clinical education and training, and dedicated nursing and administrative support.

Requirements

• Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months.
• Current TB screening completed within the past year (PPD or QuantiFERON), or chest X-ray documentation when applicable.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of pediatric nursing experience is preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and feeding tube care is strongly preferred.
• Pediatric home care, hospital, or acute-care experience is preferred.
• Valid driver's license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, one-on-one pediatric nursing care in the child's home.
• Help the child remain safe, comfortable, and supported at home.
• Support the child's family through personalized home-care nursing.
