About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Pain Management Department. The RN will work under the supervision of the Pain Clinic Manager and will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. This role involves assisting physicians with treatment plans, participating in performance improvement activities, and adhering to professional and ethical standards. The position is available at Avita's Galion, Bucyrus, and Ontario locations.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BCS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of previous experience working in a physician clinic/office.
- Previous experience working specifically in a pain clinic.
Responsibilities
- Performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients.
- Responsible for meeting the established standards of nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients.
- Assists physician(s) with the development and implementation of treatment plans.
- Participates in performance improvement review activities.
- Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, DNV standards and professional and ethical practice.
