About The Position
This role is responsible for the nature and quality of care patients receive during surgical intervention and pain management procedures. The nursing intervention assists the surgical patient in a conscious and unconscious state, ensuring continuity of care through pre-operative assessment, planning, intra-operative intervention, and post-operative evaluation. The position also involves assisting the pain specialist and specialty clinic providers with administrative and clinical tasks such as scheduling patients, rooming patients, prepping charts, taking vital signs, and obtaining medical history.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Licensed or eligible in the state of Iowa.
- Excellent computer skills.

- Operating room experience preferred.
Responsibilities
