About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Pain Management Department at the Galion location. The RN will perform primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care under the supervision of the Pain Clinic Manager. This role involves meeting established nursing practice standards, assisting physicians with treatment plans, and participating in performance improvement activities, all while adhering to federal and state laws, DNV standards, and professional/ethical practices.
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Current BCS certification.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more years of previous experience working in a physician clinic/office.
- Previous experience working specifically in a pain clinic.
Responsibilities
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care of patients.
- Meets established standards of nursing practice in the management of all assigned patients.
- Assists physician(s) with the development and implementation of treatment plans.
- Participates in performance improvement review activities.
- Acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, DNV standards and professional and ethical practice.
