About The Position

This is a full-time opening for an RN or LPN at the Red Lake Dialysis unit, an 8-station dialysis unit performing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. The role involves providing direct patient care during dialysis treatments. The hours are 4:30 am - 5:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, offering a three-day work week. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible employees, plus an additional $2.50 per hour when in the unit. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to dialysis patients. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of dialysis patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. This position offers an opportunity to work independently and collaboratively with Dialysis Technicians and other experienced Dialysis nurses, as well as with a team of motivated professionals to provide care and treatment for patients with end-stage renal disease. Requirements

  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific licensure, competencies and certifications.
  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
  • Currently holds an unencunbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred for the RN.
