About The Position

Elderwood is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Supervisor (RN) to help lead clinical operations and support our nursing teams within our skilled nursing and rehabilitation community. This is an important leadership role responsible for overseeing nursing care delivery during the assigned shift, supporting nursing staff across units, responding to clinical and operational needs, and helping ensure exceptional resident care and service excellence. Elderwood offers nurses the clinical variety of a post-acute environment combined with the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with the people in their care. Our subacute rehabilitation unit serves patients transitioning from hospital to home, including individuals recovering from illness, injury, surgery, orthopedic procedures, and cardiac conditions. The nursing team supports complex clinical needs that may include IV therapy, PICC-line management, wound vacs, complex wound care, ostomy care, enteral feeding, and dialysis coordination. For nurses who enjoy med-surg-style clinical variety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the opportunity to strengthen their assessment and technical skills, this is a setting where you can continue developing clinically while helping patients make measurable progress toward recovery. As an RN Supervisor, you will provide visible clinical leadership and help coordinate nursing operations during your assigned shift - but you will not be expected to lead alone. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing and ADON, with additional clinical resources available through Elderwood Administrative Services. Facility clinical leadership receives organization-wide direction from the Chief Nursing Officer and support from an assigned Regional Nurse Consultant. This structure gives you access to established clinical standards, experienced nursing leaders, and a broader network of support as you make decisions, guide employees, respond to changes in condition, and help maintain quality and regulatory readiness. At Elderwood, nurses have opportunities to strengthen their clinical skills, take on additional responsibility, and pursue future paths in education, unit management, and nursing leadership. Elderwood also invests in the development of future clinical leaders through advanced opportunities such as Widener University’s Director of Nursing Leadership Academy for eligible current and aspiring DONs. Whether you want to deepen your bedside practice or begin working toward a leadership role, you can build a meaningful nursing career here.
