About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Nursing Educator for an exciting Travel or Local job in New York, NY. This is a contract position for 14 weeks, with the potential to become a permanent role. The shift is a 5x7.5 Day Shift, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, totaling 37.5 hours per week. The pay rate is up to $3,661/week, based on experience.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License required
- Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration (NYSED) required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- ASN/ADN required
- Master’s Degree in Education required
- Minimum 2 years Med/Surg experience required
- Minimum 2 years Perioperative (Periop) experience required
- Strong clinical background required
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills required
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver nursing education and training programs for clinical staff
- Provide orientation, onboarding, and competency assessments for nursing personnel
- Support evidence-based clinical practice and nursing standards
- Collaborate with leadership to identify educational needs and improve staff performance
- Facilitate staff development, continuing education, and competency validation
- Support policy implementation and quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing staff
- Maintain accurate education records and documentation
- Promote patient safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
- Participate in audits, meetings, and educational planning activities
