About The Position

The RN Nursing Director will direct daily operations, clinical workflows, and patient care delivery across the unit, maintaining strict compliance with medical, legal, and ethical healthcare standards. This role involves overseeing key clinical activities such as assessment, care planning, and service level determinations, while also driving patient satisfaction and resolving complex complaints. The director will lead end-to-end workforce planning, including recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff development to maintain high clinical standards. Additionally, they will establish departmental goals aligned with organizational priorities, build, monitor, and manage the unit budget for fiscal responsibility and resource optimization, and direct internal and external audit processes to ensure continuous survey readiness and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Licensed Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
  • 5 years of experience required.
  • 2 years of leadership or management experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
  • Master's degree or combination of Bachelor's degree and experience preferred.
  • 10 years of experience preferred.
  • 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities
