About The Position
This is a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse position requiring a NY license in hand. The role involves caring for patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDS, post MI, and those undergoing cardiac pharmacological interventions. Key responsibilities include cardiac monitoring, emergency response, and managing dysrhythmias. The nurse will also be involved in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and respiratory care including nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tanks, and non-invasive airway management. The position requires adherence to isolation precautions. The facility is a Tertiary Care Hospital with 528 total staffed beds.
Requirements
- NY License in hand
- 1 year of experience
- BLS certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Must be more than 75 mile radius from the facility (for locals)
