About The Position

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus Hospital is seeking a Med/Surg Tele RN for a position that may require floating to units J1-2, J33, and the ED to care for the same patient population. This is an auto-offer position with a night shift schedule of 7pm-7:30am, working only 3x12 hour shifts on weekends (either Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon). Schedules like Sun/Mon/Tues or Thur/Fri/Sat will not be considered. The position requires the traveler to work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments will be completed during orientation, and an acceptable score on both is mandatory.

Requirements

• 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for, prior to travel assignments.
• 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience (travel experience accepted).
• Permanent Ohio License or Compact State License in hand.
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification.
• AHA or American Red Cross ACLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Float to units J1-2, J33, and ED to care for the same patient population as needed.
• Work night shifts (7pm-7:30am).
• Work weekends only (Fri/Sat/Sun or Sat/Sun/Mon).
• Work at least every other holiday.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores.
