RN MS/Tele
About The Position
This is a Registered Nurse (RN) position in the MS/Tele unit located in Wilmington, NC. The contract duration is 20 weeks, with a shift of Nights, 4x12s (06:45 PM–07:15 AM). Guaranteed hours are 48 per week, and every other weekend is guaranteed. First-time travelers are accepted. The position requires floating, including to the main campus, and there is no call requirement. A maximum of 7 days of RTO per contract is allowed, and staff must be able to work holidays. No block scheduling is permitted except for approved weekend blocks. Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm or Hurricane Team and may be required to report during catastrophic events or disasters. A flu vaccine is required, with medical/religious exemptions accepted. This is an auto-offer position.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele experience
- Experience with 1:6 patient ratios
- BLS required
- NIHSS required
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Responsibilities
- Interpreting and managing dysrhythmias
- Remote telemetry monitoring
- Managing Med/Surg and MS/Tele patients
- Floating to other units, including the main campus
