About The Position

As a Registered Nurse at TriStar Horizon Medical Center, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN).
Associate degree.
One year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

Assess patients at admission and during each scheduled shift, identify changes in condition, and report them promptly.
Perform procedures, monitoring, and other functions as ordered by medical providers.
Document care administration thoroughly and promptly in the patient’s medical record.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action for unintended responses.
Respond promptly to patient requests, anticipate needs, and resolve them.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring understanding by translating complex medical terminology.
Collaborate with medical providers and the care team to provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.
Advocate for patients, families, and caregivers.
