About The Position
CHI Lisbon Health is a 20-bed Critical Access Hospital with a 24-hour Emergency Level V Trauma Center and is part of CommonSpirit Health. The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers compassionate, high-quality, individualized care to support patients’ well-being and recovery. The role includes performing assessments and skilled procedures, implementing patient care plans, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The nurse is expected to bring strong assessment and critical-thinking skills, a patient-first mindset, urgency, and dedication to excellence in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Willingness to obtain PALS, ACLS, and TNCC.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Emergency room (ER) experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, holistic patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
- Maintain current nursing knowledge, participate in ongoing education, and educate patients.
- Delegate tasks appropriately to unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs), provide clear direction and support, and monitor care to help ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, particularly during stressful situations, and contribute positively to the work environment.
- Evaluate personal practice against professional standards, seek feedback, and participate in peer review processes.
