About The Position

The Manager Nursing - 1 plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates nursing care and other activities for multiple units or departments. The role has 24-hour responsibility for unit or department operations, nursing staff management, fiscal management, and quality improvement initiatives. The manager adheres to applicable National Patient Safety Goals. This is a full-time, day-shift position at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements

Five years of RN experience.
For Surgical Services: three years of current operating room, PACU, or outpatient surgery experience, and one year of prior management experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 24 months of hire.
Current Oklahoma RN license or current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
National certification and competencies required based on service-line skill.

Nice To Haves

Previous nursing management experience.
Master's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

Direct employee performance management and provide ongoing education opportunities for staff.
Manage the unit or department's fiscal responsibilities.
Manage the staffing schedule and potentially participate in a rotating staffing call schedule within the service line.
Ensure compliance with Standards of Nursing Practice and applicable local, state, federal, and regulatory agency standards.
Implement, review, interpret, and revise relevant INTEGRIS Health and departmental policies and procedures.
