About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is hiring a full-time, day-shift RN Supervisor for the Main OR at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The schedule is 0700–1530. This benefits-eligible role supports the organization’s mission to partner with people to live healthier lives. The supervisor coordinates shift staffing and supports staff in delivering and documenting patient care, while promoting safety, effective communication, and department goals.

Requirements

Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the State of Oklahoma.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
RN experience in the identified specialty area(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a shift staffing plan based on patient acuity, census, and available staff.
Serve as a resource to staff in solving clinical problems; participate in patient and safety rounding and provide real-time feedback.
Help staff use staffing resources efficiently to meet patient-care requirements and professional responsibilities.
Follow up promptly on incidents, document them, and communicate them to the appropriate manager and director.
Anticipate actual or potential shift problems and set priorities accordingly.
Work collaboratively with nursing and ancillary staff to solve problems fairly and consistently.
Provide staff support, guidance, and timely verbal and written performance feedback; pass written anecdotes to the nurse manager or director for use in performance evaluations.
Help staff provide a safe work environment for patient care.
Assist with preparing and implementing annual department goals.
Follow established safety and infection-control procedures independently and consistently, and intervene in unsafe situations.
Manage delivery and documentation of patient care, including assessments and reassessments, care-plan development, implementation of appropriate interventions, and evaluation of those interventions.
