About The Position

The RN Manager plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates nursing care and other activities for multiple units or departments. The role has 24-hour responsibility for unit or department operations, management of nursing staff, fiscal management, and quality improvement initiatives. The position adheres to applicable National Patient Safety Goals and nursing practice standards. This is a day-shift, full-time, benefits-eligible position at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements

At least 5 years of RN experience.
For Surgical Services: 3 years of current operating room, PACU, or outpatient surgery experience and 1 year of prior management experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing within 24 months of hire.
Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse licensure or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
BLS certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
National certification and competencies required based on service line skill.

Nice To Haves

Previous nursing management experience.
Master's degree in Nursing.

Responsibilities

Direct employee performance management and provide ongoing education opportunities for staff members.
Manage the unit or department budget and finances.
Manage the staffing schedule and potentially participate in a rotating staffing call schedule within the service line.
Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards for assigned units or departments and with local, state, federal, and regulatory agency standards.
Implement, review, interpret, and revise relevant INTEGRIS Health and departmental policies and procedures.
Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate nursing care and other activities for multiple units or departments, with 24-hour responsibility for their functioning.
Lead quality improvement initiatives.
