About The Position

Wilshire At Lakewood Rehab & Healthcare Center is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and/or Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its clinical team and help maintain high-level resident care in a skilled nursing community. The organization emphasizes clinical excellence, compassionate care, and a family-like environment for residents and staff. New graduates are welcome. The position has 12-hour shifts and is located in Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Requirements

Hold an active Missouri license as an LPN or RN.
Be familiar with health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
Understand confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
Be compassionate and able to handle stress.

Responsibilities

Record patients’ medical histories accurately.
Take and record measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
Observe patients receiving treatment to identify progress and medication side effects.
Monitor patients’ conditions, including fluid intake and output, and maintain patient charts.
Assist patients with necessary daily activities, including eating and bathing.
Administer injections, prescribed medications, and enemas; clean and dress wounds; and assist with other basic medical care tasks.
Perform general nursing tasks as required.
