About The Position

NHC HealthCare Moulton is seeking an RN or LPN to join its team. The role includes overseeing admissions and discharges, providing education, addressing family and resident concerns, and performing other assigned duties. The position supervises and evaluates nursing staff, monitors resident care and compliance with policies and procedures, and carries out disciplinary actions in accordance with personnel policies. It also involves completing admission, discharge, and transfer documentation, monitoring resident lab schedules and results, and reviewing 24-hour report sheets and following up as needed.

Requirements

• Ability to meet performance requirements.
• Licensed to practice in the state.
• Participate in continuing education to stay informed about current nursing trends and developments and maintain current licensure requirements.
• Maintain CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or ASN preferred.
• Ventilator unit, critical care, or special care experience preferred.
