RN/LPN – Private Duty Nursing – Peoria, AZ
About The Position
Dependable Nurses, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a private duty nursing case in Peoria, Arizona. This position offers a consistent 12-hour day shift every Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, making it an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to supplement their current schedule while providing meaningful one-on-one patient care. Private duty nursing gives you the opportunity to focus on one patient at a time. You'll provide personalized care in the patient's home while building a meaningful relationship with the patient and family.
Requirements
- Current Arizona RN or LPN license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to meet required background and credentialing requirements
- Dependable and committed to providing quality patient care
Nice To Haves
- Private duty or pediatric nursing experience is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient's home
- Follow the individualized plan of care
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitor the patient's condition and communicate changes as needed
- Complete accurate and timely documentation
- Communicate with the family and clinical care team
- Provide safe, compassionate, and dependable nursing care
