About The Position
Castor Home Health Solutions is hiring an RN or LPN for a full-time overnight pediatric case in the Washington/Peoria area. This role involves providing skilled 1:1 nursing care for a child in their home, allowing for focused attention on the patient's individual needs and building a meaningful relationship with the child and family. The position offers full-time overnight hours, consistent long-term care, and focused nursing without a large patient assignment. New graduates are encouraged to apply, and virtual interview and onboarding are available.
Requirements
- Active Illinois RN or LPN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Compassionate and dependable approach to care
- Interest in providing one-on-one pediatric nursing care
Nice To Haves
- Previous pediatric or private duty nursing experience isn't required.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 skilled nursing care in the home
- Monitor your patient's condition and vital signs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Provide case-specific skilled nursing care
- Respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Follow the individualized plan of care
- Communicate with the family and Castor clinical team
- Complete required nursing documentation
