About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor and Delivery will provide care to expectant mothers and their babies in a fast-paced environment. The role involves working on the 4th floor of the North Austin Medical Center with a dedicated team to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Requirements
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certification.
- Intermediate fetal monitoring competency.
- 2+ years of nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Competency in SVE and C-section circulation required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a Level IV unit preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage labor and delivery of patients, including normal and cesarean deliveries.
- Monitor fetal heart rates, administer medications, and evaluate contractions using advanced medical equipment.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide mother and baby care before, during, and after childbirth.
