About The Position
Registered Nurse position in the Labor and Delivery unit providing care to obstetric, post-partum, antepartum, post-surgical gynecology patients, including those with hypertension or diabetes. The role involves no floating unless in critical staffing situations.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Must pass a skills exam with at least 90%.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to laboring, post-partum, and antepartum patients.
- Titrate drips such as Pitocin, Mag, and Procardia.
- Participate in a pass/fail skills exam during orientation.
