RN - Labor and Delivery; 0.8FTE; Night Shift
About The Position
The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation from an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards. The RN is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, supervises selected delegated nursing acts, and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. This 0.8 FTE position is scheduled for night shifts, either Monday through Friday from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM or from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation. The employee must be available to attend orientation on the day shift during the first two weeks of employment.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program; other nursing degrees may be considered on an individual basis.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
- CPR certification, or eligibility to complete certification within three months of hire.
- Available for day-shift orientation during the first two weeks of employment.
