RN - Labor and Delivery; 0.8FTE; Night Shift
About The Position
The Registered Nurse performs patient care procedures and skills acquired through graduation from an accredited school of nursing. The RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care according to hospital policies, procedures, protocols, and care standards. The RN provides direct and indirect patient care through supervision of select delegated nursing acts and collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. This is a 0.8 FTE Labor and Delivery position on the night shift. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 11:00 PM–7:30 AM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. The first two weeks of employment require day-shift availability for orientation.
Requirements
- Graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program; other nursing degrees may be considered on an individual basis.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin.
- CPR certification, or eligibility to complete certification within three months of hire.
- Available to attend day-shift orientation during the first two weeks of employment.
