About The Position

Corewell Health Gerber Hospital Multispecialty Clinic in Fremont is hiring a full-time Ambulatory RN Inboxologist. The role focuses on managing routine items that flow into providers’ in-baskets, including medication refills, second-level triage, patient advice requests, and patient phone calls. The work represents nearly 50% of the in-basket volume a provider receives. Nursing and Inboxology team protocols and processes will be made visible to provider teams before the anticipated program go-live.

Corewell Health operates more than 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, with more than 40 types of primary care and specialty practices. The position is based at the Fremont Medical Office Building and is scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
• One year of RN experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• One year of experience as an RN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage MyChart patient advice requests.
• Perform second-level triage.
• Process routine medication refills not completed by Health Finch.
• Respond to patient phone calls.
