RN Inboxologist Multispecialty Family Medicine Clinic
About The Position
Corewell Health Gerber Hospital Multispecialty Clinic in Fremont is hiring a full-time Ambulatory RN Inboxologist. The role focuses on managing routine items that flow into providers’ in-baskets, including medication refills, second-level triage, patient advice requests, and patient phone calls. This work represents nearly 50% of a provider’s in-basket volume. Nursing and Inboxology protocols and processes will be shared with provider teams before the anticipated program go-live. The position is based at the Fremont Medical Office Building and is part of Family Medicine and Multi Specialty - Gerber Professional Services. The schedule is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Corewell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, with eligibility determined by employment type and status.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
- Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Nursing (BSN).
- One year of experience as an RN.
Responsibilities
- Manage routine medication refill requests.
- Perform second-level triage.
- Respond to patient advice requests, including requests submitted through MyChart.
- Handle patient phone calls.
- Manage refills not completed by Health Finch.
