About The Position

The Staff Registered Nurse provides holistic, patient-centered nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle. The nurse uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; works within organizational policies and procedures; and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The role maintains standards of practice and coordinates assigned staff’s patient-care activities to support quality nursing care. This position is in the ICU at Piedmont Fayette Hospital and is scheduled for weekend night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Requirements

• Graduation from a nursing program.
• Current Georgia registered nurse license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification; certification must be obtained through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Previous critical care experience.

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
