About The Position

Pella Home Health is a fun, supportive, family-oriented workplace offering flexibility, autonomy, and strong team support from an experienced local team. Home health provides the opportunity to work one-on-one with patients in their homes, helping them maintain or improve their health and manage their care. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered with a work commitment.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current registration and licensure in the State of Iowa as an RN, in good standing with the Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification; new employees must certify within three months after hire.
• Valid Iowa driver’s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• Maintain and provide proof of personal auto insurance.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Strong empathetic listening skills, tact, and kindness toward others.
• Ability to communicate verbally and work effectively as a team member.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Technical and critical-thinking skills supporting sound nursing judgment.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing experience in a home health or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for an assigned caseload of patients.
• Provide skilled nursing care using evidence-based practice and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, patients, and families to promote continuity of care.
• Supervise and direct support staff in the provision of care.
• Deliver safe, age-appropriate nursing care focused on optimal patient outcomes.
