About The Position

At Barstow Community Hospital, the RN is responsible and accountable for planning, directing, assessing, and providing nursing care in accordance with the hospital’s mission, philosophy, policies, and procedures. Important dimensions of the position include quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, positive public and customer relations, and broad nursing knowledge. Staff members follow the standards of perioperative professional practice outlined in association of operating room standards.

Requirements

• Current California RN licensure.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification within 90 days.
• One year of experience in an inpatient or multispecialty ambulatory OR setting within the last five years.
• Specific clinical experience may be required for the specific position.
