About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join the hospital-based Emergency Department team at Good Samaritan Hospital. The RN provides specialized nursing care using a multidisciplinary approach and the nursing process, following hospital policies, procedures, and protocols. The role is part-time at 0.3 FTE, with 12-hour night shifts. At least one year of Emergency nursing experience is required; new graduates and RNs without Emergency Department experience are directed to residency or fellowship opportunities.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement.
At least one year of Emergency nursing experience is required.
Current BLS certification is required.
Active ACLS and PALS certifications are required by the department-specific requirements.
One year of acute-care experience is preferred.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Certification in a specialty area.
One year of experience in an acute-care setting.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
